Hi! Thank you for visiting my website. Let me introduce myself...
I'm Lois, Nuts about Mutts has been established, as a professional business since 2008, my services are specialised solely about all things canine. I have 3 Shih-Tzu dogs of my own, Rufus, Beau and Bear, who are well socialised with all KC breed categories, however if you are at all concerned with your own dogs social ability with other dogs, please do speak to me as there as no concrete rules when it comes to the world of the canine! I am involved with the on-going teachings in K9 Psychology and regularly attend classes at the prestigious Kingston Maurward College have extensive knowledge and expertise in many breeds of dogs, including Shih-Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Pug, Dalmation, Springer, Cocker and various other Spaniels, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Poodle, Labrador Retriever, Cavalier King Charles, Doberman, Rottweiler, Vizsla, Large Munsterlander, Weirmarana plus most Terrier breeds including Jack Russell, Border, Cairn, Staffordshire Bull, English Bull, Lakeland, Yorkshire and Irish- to name but a few.
Currently I am unable to take in Newfoundlands, German Shepherds and any Husky/Husky type Breeds.
Having experienced the unexpected loss of a dog of my own when I was younger - I understand just what an important member of the family they are, my first and main priority is the safety of the dogs in my care.
My services are include Dog Boarding and Dog Day Care. I hold full Public Liability, Custody, Care and Control Insurance and am licenced by Bournemouth Borough Council under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963 strict 13 point criteria.
My vehicle is unbranded and is fitted (when necessary) with dedicated breed specific car crates/Safety belts for the safe transport of your dog.
Covering a radius of about 10 miles from Bournemouth, BH9 which roughly equates to Poole in the West, Verwood in the North and Christchurch in the East.
My property has a secure rear garden, which backs directly onto Muscliffe Park, with access to River Stour walks in just a few minutes. If you have any questions, or need to know more, please contact me.
