Hello and welcome.  

I’m Lois and Nuts about Mutts was born in 2008, at the time having 2 dogs of my own it was really hard having to leave them all week and some of my friends had had some bad experiences on leaving their dog(s).  I have always been around dogs my whole life and we have 4 Shih-Tzu’s from 4 to 13 years old.

To me the most important element of a dog care professional is for your dogs to be safe, secure, loved and for their usual routine to be observed.  This is why it is important for us to have a consultation where we can take down the details of their routines, feeding schedules and to check off their vaccination records.

I am licensed by Bournemouth Borough Council (Licence No. AAL 119512) and hold Full Liability and Custody, Care and Control Insurance.  I have studied K9 Psychology to Advanced level and hold a K9 (Animal) First Aid certificate.  You can rest assured that your dog(s) are in the best possible care.  

We back onto Muscliffe Park, with direct access so there is no need for unnecessary car journeys to enjoy a variety of walks close to home.

I am experienced with many different dog types, breeds/hybrids and traits.  However there are some breeds I cannot accommodate these include Husky/Husky X’s and Husky types (eg Malamutes), German Shepherds, Rottweilers and Newfoundlands.  I am also not currently taking any 'bull' breeds at this time.

Services available are short and long stay holiday (overnight) boarding and daycare only. We are not currently taking any non-boarding/non-daycare dog walking clients.
